For most of my creative life I have painted using watercolour...I am mostly self taught. Painting and drawing leaves and trees was what... kept me sane as a young girl and into my days as a trainee nurse...fueling the creative fire. The bush around Kalgoorlie ( where I grew up), drawing fallen, chewed and aged leaves (endlessly, as they call to me as I walk along), and later the forests of the South West, along with the multitude of flowering gums and their nuts have been a lifelong inspiration. My love of roses and flowers as I made gardens have also featured in my works over the years. For more than thirty years I have painted and sold my watercolour cards, each one an individual 'little piece' of our country and seaside.

I have also a love for working in pastel, capturing the light, the sandy beaches, the wonderful colour of the oceans and our incredible sunsets. Pastel lends itself so well to report the beauty of our environment.

Over the last few years I have dabbled in print making,  as well as geli printing and of late using acrylic and mixed media. I love to make books, which over the years have become my journals, and making boxes with the large number of prints from the geli printing...which is so addictive and such a lot of fun and surprises.
