Big Title

Neil was born in Zimbabwe in 1965, but moved to Australia in 2005, and subsequently spent fifteen years living in the Pilbara region of W.A. The rugged beauty of the area was of great inspiration, and one of the reasons he started painting. Although he has always been an admirer of good art (especially landscapes), he only started painting late in life (2012) but has since won a number of awards. He has exhibited on multiple occasions at Cossack, Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery, with the PACT group in Tom Price, and more recently in Boyup Brook. Self-taught, he chose acrylic as his medium, but has also dabbled with watercolour. Landscapes are his preference, and the main source of inspiration, Anything rustic, including old barns, abandoned houses old rusty vintage cars etc. are sure to catch his eye, and end up on canvas in some form.
