I grew up in the southwest of NSW in a family brimming with artists, so art has always been a part of my life.
I now live in Jalbarragup, a satellite community of Nannup in the southwest of WA, having moved here from Derby in the Kimberley region at the end of 2019.
After retiring in 2015 from a 50-year nursing career, I was finally able to dedicate more time to my other passion—art. Inspired by nature, I enjoy working with a variety of mediums, including watercolors, acrylics, and acrylic pouring art.

While living in Derby, I began entering my artwork in the Kimberley Art and Photographic Prize, an annual exhibition held during the two-week-long Boab Festival. In 2017, I was honored to win the overall prize, and in 2024, I won the mixed media section.

In 2023, I also exhibited at the Beverley Station Art Exhibition, where my work received a highly commended recognition.
Now, having lived in Jalbarragup for five years, I have been part of the Blackwood River Arts Trail for the past three years, exhibiting my work at The Bonnet and Entrance in Nannup.
Since 2020, I have been exploring the use of recycled fabrics and embroidery threads to create landscape and floral designs. More recently, in 2023, I expanded my practice to include felting, experimenting with both wet and dry techniques.
My artistic journey continues to evolve, and I look forward to sharing my work with others who find joy in creativity and nature.
