There will be talks, demonstrations, commercial and market stalls, as well as a Kids’ Corner, music, wine, spirits, and cider tasting, pet zoo, livestock and heaps of food and coffee choices.

Throughout the town you will see displays of the scarecrow competition which has been very successful.

It’s time to put on your cowboy boots and hat, stock up on supplies and load up the family for the best weekend you’ll ever have. Get your tickets for Saturday Shindig , Sunday full points rodeo and camping for the whole weekend. 

The Harvey Dickson Rodeo takes place in Boyup Brook on Harvey Dickson’s farm. It is a wild weekend jammed packed with entertainment.

Around 5,000 people attend this great event with most camping in caravans and tents.

There are food trucks, live music and of course, the action-packed Rodeo.

Nannup Tank 7 Mountain Bike Park is located 2 kilometres east of Nannup. This network offer riders a variety of gravity inspired experiences through a working pine plantation. The trails vary from rough and rocky, to fast and flowing and the diverse mix of terrain offers something for the beginners through to the experienced riders with cross country, all mountain, downhill and flow trails.

Our amazing collection of jigsaws, the largest in the southern Hemisphere, varies in types featuring classic art, famous landscapes, 3D jigsaws, WASGIJs and much more. The sizes range from our smallest at 99 pieces (it's much smaller than it sounds!) to our largest at 40,320 pieces, measuring over 7m long! It is an absolute must-see when visiting Bridgetown. Entry is $5 Adults, $3 Children and $12 for a Family (2A+2C)

The Kura Kartaga Langa Reserve, meaning "Place of Special Long Ago Memories" in Nyoongar, is a peaceful bushland reserve featuring a scenic walk trail along the Blackwood River's billabong, ideal for birdwatching, nature walks, and appreciating local wildflowers, accessible from various points near the town. It is about 750m in length.

This trail starts at the Blackwood River Park and is straightforward as it follows the river. You can do 6km return, or up to 8km if you include Bridgetown streets. It is a stunningly beautiful walk, especially during winter and spring when the countryside is at its lush green best and the river is flowing strongly.

The Apple Fun Park is one of the biggest free entry fun parks in WA.  Revitalised in 2021 it features bigger, better, brighter, beautiful, and brand new play equipment and options for our visitors. It includes 125 play activities, including 16 swings, a dedicated zone for early childhood, including crawling access ramps to slides suitable for babies, a sensory and nature play zone, including water play, sand play, and tuned musical elements, integration of green spaces, including shady deciduous trees and low lying planting, shades and amenities for picnics and family lunches, and integrated accessible play features throughout the entire park space to foster inclusive play, and to provide opportunities for all ages and abilities.

The Balingup Heritage Exhibition, located in the historic Packing Shed in Balingup's town center, offers a captivating look into the town's history from 1855-1955, featuring displays on early homesteads, replica WWI trench and uniform, local stories, and photographs, often refreshed with new themes like Aboriginal art. It's part of the Balingup Heritage Precinct, which also includes the Avenue of Honour, and is open daily, providing a deep dive into the area's unique agricultural and military past.

KONDIL WILDFLOWER PARK

The walking trail at the Kondil Wildflower Park is an absolute must do when visiting the south west region. Located on the outskirts of Nannup township, this walk is the perfect place to unwind after a fun day out. You have a choice of three even surfaced walks that take you through the native forest of Nannup and showcases the spectacular seasonal wildflowers.

Barrabup Pool, in St John Brook Conservation Park, is a naturally formed watering hole just outside of Nannup. The peaceful location is a popular swimming and canoeing spot. The surrounding tall native trees provide plenty of shade and the tranquil waters make it a relaxing setting to unwind. Take advantage of the shaded barbeque and picnic facilities or camp overnight to allow more time to explore the surrounding area. It is a short 20-minute drive from Nannup.

A historic mill town nestled deep in the heart of Australia’s South West karri forests, it’s the perfect place for a unique escape from the hustles and hassles of modern life. LIONS TIMBER PARK / STEAM ENGINE

This small park displays historic machinery used in the timber industry such as rolling stock which used to run on the wooden tramway at Dellerton siding along with some information of the timber industry. Visitors can pull their vans and RVs into the park which contains a handy dump point.
