I emigrated to Australia from England in 1974 to take up a nursing position in Perth. Although continuing to nurse in 1999 I decided to increase my knowledge of Art and completed a TAFE course in Art & Design. On completion I opened a business in Art & Design. For the past 35 years I have experimented with art, but my passion has been in the area of painting and mosaics.I now enjoy producing collage art works, incorporating varied materials and found items. I have been an artist in Residence at Beverley twice. In 2024 I had a 4 week exhibition and conducted workshops.In 2022 Jean and myself completed a mosaic chair at Beverley,  building it from scratch. I have lived in Nannup 9 years and in 2023 partnered with Jean to open a studio, "Millside" in Nannup, which I have found without doubt "A place to call home." What a magical and inspiring area we live in.
