About Gulia: Began her artistic journey in Kazan, Tatarstan in 1966. Studied art for three years and was influenced by Russian artists like Konstantin Korovin and Nicola Fechin. Paints in an impressionist style. Moved to Canada in 2000 and built a client base for landscapes and portraits. Fell in love with Western Australia's beauty and moved to Perth in 2009. Sold art through Araluen Botanic Park and led painting groups inspired by Monet and Van Gogh. Currently resides in Boyup Brook and enjoys being part of the local art community. Gulia's Work: Focuses on "movement" in her art. Creates a popular series called "Little Things on Linen" featuring portraits and still lifes on linen. Offers commissioned works, social group art activities, corporate group art activities, and painting skill development assistance. Gulia's Philosophy: Emphasizes light, movement, peace, freedom, visual stimulation, life, and realism. Views art as creation, not production.
