Big Title
I love to be inspired by the beauty in the natural world living on the land in the Blackwood for over half of my life 27 years now it is full of so much to inspire creativity this is where my husband and I have been farming and have raised our 3 children & using the inspiration and connection to my garden, landscapes from my childhood in New Zealand & my families Scottish Ancestry & flowers especially I love to paint from still life and my imagination I use primarily acrylics in my work & every piece is coming from a place of Joy, Art for Joy!
I believe creativity is the most powerful healing tool we have as human beings - discovering tools to heal my body, mind & spirit I have recovered, unblocked & reweaved my creativity in my own life in the last 3 years born from the grief of loss & no longer having the physical ablity to continue my Yoga & Healing Business due to my own experience going through medical injury.
I am now a emerging artist after dabbling for most of my life in various creative modalities, I am now painting full time after deciding that it was time to do what my heart was calling & have opened The Joyful Little Art Space in Boyup Brook along with Sarah Jane Ford as a studio space to work, sell my art, create, connect share, teach, building a creative community & in the future inviting other artists to share & teach as well.
I am super excited to be a part of the Blackwood Valley Arts Trail in 2025 along with so many amazing talented Artists & I look forward to meeting many of you soon.
