Big Title
Jess Hayward is a ‘pastime’ artist who loves creating something out of nothing, with every piece lying around igniting a flow of creativity. From a sandy shell, a vision of sunsets, a stunning flower in full bloom to a simple cane, Jess is able to turn the pieces into something eye-catching and beautiful. Shells adorned with beads become the centrepiece of wall hangings, sunsets inspire acrylics on metal remnants of an old shed, and pruned vineyard canes are twined into dream catchers with cast-off feathers from the abundant birdlife.
Living a busy rural farming life, Jess finds time to enjoy the inspirations and creativity of the idyllic surrounds offer at every opportunity. Everything from vineyard cuttings to still wet glistening sea shells.
