Joanna Hales-Pearce fell in love with colour and texture at an early age, and began her art career expreimenting with oil paints until impatience saw a move to faster drying acrylics and texture mediums. Whilst painting is her main joy, Joanna randomly dabbles in different techniques, materials and styles, with a love of experimentation and a readiness to explore and learn. Her artworks begin with bold backgrounds, and end with anything from found objects and items from nature to fabrics, or maybe just a touch of sparkle. Reality mixes with imagination to create bright, bold pieces filled with happiness.
